DATA USAGE
What permissions does Not Me use?
Not Me may request access to your camera, photo library, and media saving permissions so you can record a source video, pick a video or character image from your device, and save generated videos back to your library.
Why do uploads go to the cloud?
Not Me uses cloud infrastructure to store uploaded media, manage accounts, and run AI video processing. This includes Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions, plus Replicate for AI generation workflows.
What data is stored?
Depending on how you use the App, stored data may include your account details, uploaded videos, reference images, generated videos, thumbnails, token or credit information, subscription status, push notification token, and support messages you send to us.
How long is data kept?
We keep data for as long as reasonably needed to provide the App, maintain your account, support generated content access, enforce service protections, and comply with legal obligations.
If you delete your account, the current backend implementation deletes your active user record and authentication account and archives certain account data first. Based on the code reviewed, some storage objects or related records may remain until separately removed.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from inside the App if that option is available in your settings. If you need help, contact support at dominic.b.developer@gmail.com.
